I finally signed the contract to re-schedule the September 2017 reunion that was cancelled because of Hurricane Irma...
The new date is March 5-8 2018 in Pensacola Florida.. We can have reservations from the 4-9 at the same rate we had originally...

Your re-union fee's you have already paid are still good and all the bill's are already paid in full... I also hope that we will add some guys who could not make the last reunion because of conflicts... I have already heard from 3 guys who are now interested..

I really hope we did not put any of you in a bind with these new dates...
I have decided I can't guarantee the weather, but I can guarantee the commaradarie and meeting of old friends...

Mary and I are arriving on Saturday the 3rd...
Monday, March 5th at 10:00 am, Mary and I will start setting up the hospitality room... Setting up the tables for hats, shirts, dry snack etc... Especially would like some help with hanging up all the posters I Brought... LOL... Don't forget to bring me any auction items you brought...
The Hospitality room is" Antilles room" It is up stairs from the lobby on the left..
Like I mentioned before, The association is putting up the 1st $400 towards the supplies for the hospitality room... As in past reunions, I am asking every one to provide to the supply room..
Please bring either a case of water, or a case of your favorite beer, soda and if your like me, I like hard liquor and or a bottle of wine... Also your favorite snack... There will also be a tip jar for the hospitality room if you can't bring any thing.... That helps keep our spending down.. Please, it your driving, we could use some coolers to keep our beverages cold..
We are doing a silent auction again to help raise money for the Association... There will be tables set up for your items... This is a great way to donate to the Association, and hopefully take some thing home from the reunion... I will supply individual auction bid sheets.. Just fill it out, name of the person donating and a suggested minimum bid... This is our chance to be generous...

1230 Tour the National Flight Academy (If classes are not in session)
1350 Giant Screen Theater is showing the movie WE, THE MARINES
1500 Free time to tour of the virtual flight deck and the Museum's upstairs
1630 Board trolleys for return to the Holiday Inn Resort
1700 Arrive at the Holiday Inn Resort
***** Note:**** I want to take our reunion foto at the museum this day.. For you who bought a shirt and hat from the association, please wear it, or bring it along to put on for the photo.. If you didn't buy a shirt, please borrow one from the table..
Thursday, March 8th will be the banquet in the Guadalupe room, this is just down the hall from the Hospitality room.. Info on the menu to come. Banquet at 6:00 PM
After the banquet, we will settle up on the auction items in the Hospitality room..
****IMPORTANT NOTE: **** I paid for a bar tender for the hours of the banquet... Real important to mention... We cannot bring our own alcohol to the banquet.. For every violation, the hotel will charge us $150... Apparently this is a city ordinance of some kind.. We can purchase beverages from the bar tender...
Official group Photo , including wives will be taken at 5:15 before the banquet... Location will be determined after I see the layout..

PS--- As usual, I will be taking numerous foto's... If you want a copy of them, please provide me with a 4gig thumb drive, also with a self addressed envelope and probably 3 stamps.. Be sure to use a piece of tape to secure the envelope..

NOTE TO OUR BRAVO SNOW BIRDS
The temperature here in Pensacola has been in the 80's. But during the reunion it might get into the 70's. Bring your shorts, swim suits. Also, bring a sweater as nights can get cool, low 70's and 60's.
